Reiz Tech recently participated in Japan IT Week 2025, an important event for IT and technology companies in Japan. This exhibition provided an opportunity to connect with both European and Japanese companies, gaining valuable insights into the Japanese market's needs and interests in automation and data platforms and modernizing legacy systems.

Building Connections Across Europe and Japan

Throughout the event, we made contact with 42 companies from Europe, strengthening existing networks and exploring potential for future collaboration. Additionally, we engaged with 47 companies from Japan, many of which showed a clear interest in our solutions. This highlighted the growing demand for modern technologies in Japan, especially given the challenges many businesses face with legacy systems.

Areas of Interest and Demand

There was notable interest from Japanese companies in a few key areas:

Automation Solutions

With Japan’s manufacturing industry continuing to be a global leader, automation solutions were a significant point of interest. Many local businesses are seeking ways to optimize their operations and increase efficiency through automation.

Data Platforms

The need for more efficient data management and processing was another area where our solutions resonated. Japan’s industries are increasingly looking for modern data infrastructure to handle growing amounts of data and improve decision-making.

Software Development

Japan has a strong manufacturing sector, but software development appears to be an area where many local companies are seeking external expertise. This could be a potential area for future collaboration and growth.

Collaboration and Local Partnerships

Our existing Joint Venture LITIT with NTT Data was a valuable reference point for many attendees, showcasing our established partnerships and collaborative approach. Additionally, we were able to connect with the European House in Japan, which can serve as a useful resource for building further relationships and understanding the local market.

Cultural Insights and Market Understanding

One of the key takeaways from our participation was the importance of understanding Japanese business culture. Building trust and maintaining long-term relationships are critical to successful collaboration. The event also provided a deeper understanding of how Japanese companies prefer to approach business partnerships, which will guide how we interact with potential partners in the future.

Looking Ahead

Our participation in Japan IT Week 2025 has provided valuable insights into the Japanese market and highlighted areas where there is strong demand for modern technological solutions. The event helped strengthen our understanding of Japan's current challenges and opportunities, and we are looking forward to exploring these further as we continue to build our presence in the region.
